Sieve races into 5k record books

Greta Sieve smashed her own school record and qualified for the NCAA National Meet in the 5000 meters at the Oregon Relays.
Competing at historic Hayward Field, the WIldcats senior team captain ran 16:57.98 for 5000 meters. Her time moves her to #2 on the DIvision III National Performance list. The time was 52 seconds faster than the Wildcats school record she set last season.
The only Division III runner in the field, Sieve finished 16th overall in a race that included Division I athletes and professional runners.
