St. Catherine University

The St. Kate's track and field team is set to compete in the MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by St. Mary's University in Winona, MN. The Wildcats will be looking to build upon the momentum of having set five individual and three relay school records during the past month.

SCU finished 8th last season, and will now be looking to match-or surpass- the highest finish in school history (7th place in 2001).  To do that the Wildcats will be looking to their four senior team captains, Amanda Manship, Samantha Larson, Celestine Ventura and Greta Sieve to help them reach their goals.  That quartet has seen the team grow from an 11th place, 10 point, finish their freshman year to finishing 6th with 59 points during the 2010 indoor season.
