Lindsay Madryga

Madryga begins her seventh academic year at St. Catherine as the Sports Information Director in 2024-25.
 
Madryga comes to St. Kate’s from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) serving as Assistant Director over the past academic year made possible through the NCAA Division III Ethnic Minority & Women’s Internship Grant, a program providing opportunities for women and ethnic minorities to gain experience in college athletics.
 
During her time at the MIAC Madryga was the advisor to the Conference’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and assisted with various areas of athletic administration including strategic planning, championship and event management, conference awards, membership educational service, and sports information. Additionally, Madryga was responsible for all social media communications at the 2018 NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball National Championship.
 
Prior to joining the MIAC, Madryga spent three years at Concordia University, St. Paul (CSP) in various capacities for the Golden Bears. Madryga served as Director of Marketing and Promotions for the 2016-17 academic year with oversight of all department marketing efforts. While obtaining her master of arts in sport management degree from CSP, Madryga was the Golden Bears athletic department graduate assistant for athletic administration assisting with marketing, compliance and facilities operations.
 
Additionally, Madryga has completed internships in athletic administration with Eastview High School and the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL). Madryga continues to provide assistance in the role of media steward and operations at MSHSL state tournaments.
 
Madryga is an active member of Women Leaders in Collegiate Sports and has attended the organizations Institute for Administrative Advancement in May 2018 and Women Leaders Symposium in April 2017. Madryga serves on the National Girl and Women in Sports Day-Minnesota committee and a member of NACMA and NADIIIAA.
 
Madryga graduated from CSP with a bachelor of arts in sport management and business management in 2014. Madryga resides in Edina, Minn. with her husband Nick and dog Hobey.
