Wildcats come up short against a tough St. Olaf squad in first round of playoffs

The Wildcats came out fighting against the #3 seed of the conference tournament St. Olaf, Friday afternoon. They split the first two doubles positions with Maria Koval and Angie Lorenzen winning at #2 doubles 8-1.  #3 doubles was a close fought match, but St. Kate's eventually fell the to Oles 8-6.  The last doubles match propelled the Oles through the singles competitions as well.
Coach Hageseth after the match, "It was great just being able to participate in the conference tournament.  It was an amazing experience for all of our players and a nice way to finish the season for the senior.  It was a tough loss, but it doesn't take away from our outstanding season.  However, it did highlight what the Wildcats need to focus on in the off season to be a top team in the conference moving forward"

Congrats to the tennis team on a great season!
