Tennis prepares for conference playoffs

The Wildcats have qualified for the conference playoffs for the second consecutive season. The playoffs will begin on Friday at 12:00 pm at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. St. Kate's earned the #6 seed going into this weekend's MIAC conference playoffs. In the first round, the Wildcats will face #3 St. Olaf College.

Head Coach Ben Hageseth had this to say leading up to the weekend's tournament, "Being in the tournament for the 2nd year in a row is a great accomplishment for the team.  I'm looking forward to being able to play St. Olaf again, because we have improved a ton as a team since we faced them earlier in the season and given our most recent results I think it'll be an outstanding match.  A big piece for the Wildcats will be continuing to come strong out the gates, competing hard at every position, and getting after the doubles points, which is where we have had a lot of success this season.  We've had a really good week of practice in preparation, so we are in a great position to try and upset the #3 seed this year."
