The Wildcat swimmers made their return to the pool on Friday evening, heading across town for a dual meet with St. Thomas. After logging miles in the pool on their annual training trip, the Wildcats made all that training pay off in their first meet since returning to Minnesota.
The distance swimmers got events started with both milers dropping over 30 seconds off their season best times.
Laura Oberg-Hauser placed second with a time of 20:25.45, while
Kylah Hitchcock was third in 21:27.16.
Allison Witt swam season bests in both her individual events, picking up a win in the 200 IM in a time of 2:16.67. She added a fourth place in the 100 breast, swimming 1:14.71.
Sarah Vrudny finished just behind Witt in the 200 IM, as her time of 2:17.68 was good for second place.
Sarah Moody picked up one first place finish and was close as can be to a second victory. Her score of 259.10 won the 3-meter diving, while her score of 254.25 was just .25 away from first place in 1-meter diving.
