St. Kate's skated to a convincing 6-2 win in St. Joseph tonight against St. Benedict. It was a total team effort from start to finish as the Wildcats netted three goals in the first and third periods to get the win.

Head Coach Brad Marshall stated, "It was nice to see us score some goals again. We saw a lot of good things from each line, and all five defensemen. Mel came up with some timely saves to keep it 3-1 after two periods. A solid team effort tonight."

SCU takes on St. Ben's again tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. in their final home game in Inver Grove Heights.
