Softball Starts The Season With A Win
The Wildcat softball team started their season with an impressive win Saturday night, topping Crown College 18-0 in 5 innings of work.
Katie Allen was 3 for 4 at the plate with 2 singles and a double. Jess Kniefel went 3-3 with two singles, a double and 3 stolen bases.
Kayla Bergerson received credit for the win, throwing a no-hitter with 8 strikeouts in 3 innings of work. Morgan Bohmbach pitched two innings in relief, also throwing a no-hitter with 4 strikeouts.
St. Kate’s now travels to California to play five games, the first on March 27th. They return home on April 6th to host a double-header with Augsburg.
