St. Catherine University

The American Hockey Coaches Association announced that St. Catherine University junior Michaela Michaelson has been named a RBK Hockey College Division All American. Michaelson was one of only 12 players in the country to be named to the first team all-american list. She is also the first SCU hockey player to earn all-american honors.

The all-american honors add to the growing list of accolades for Michaelson as she has recently been named a finalist for the national player of the year award, was named the 2009-2010 MIAC Women's Hockey Player of the Year and earned her third consecutive MIAC All-Conference award.

Michaelson, who had 35 points in 25 games this season, has now scored 85 points in 74 career games.
