The St. Kate's basketball team lost to St. Olaf 67-61. With the loss the Wildcats fall to 6-9 overall and 5-7 in the MIAC.

Despite heading into the game as the #3 ranked free throw shooting team in the country this season, it was the charity stripe that haunted the Wildcats against St. Olaf.  The two teams were fairly evenly matched in every offensive category, however, the Oles converted 17 of their 25 free throw opportunities. The Wildcats hit only 11 of their 23 opportunities.

Megan Zillmer led the Wildcats with 16 points, including going 4-for-4 from behind the three point line. Sonja Ellingson had a season high 15 points.

The Wildcats return to action on Saturday when they host Augsburg at 3pm.
