ITA Honors Tennis Team

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) recently recognized five St. Kate's student-athletes with the 2009 ITA Scholar-Athlete Award. The organization also awarded the Wildcats tennis team with an All-Academic Team award for the 2008-09 season.

Lauren Beadnell, Susie Hallquist, Kasie Rust, Sam Shoberg and Patty Sullivan were all honored for carrying a minimum GPA of 3.50 while also earning a varsity letter.  These five Wildcats represented nearly 20% of all the MIAC tennis student-athletes honored by the ITA for academic excellence.

The ITA also recognized the Wildcats tennis team for having a cumulative team GPA above 3.20 for the 2008-09 season. The Wildcats were one of only four MIAC teams, and 72 nationally, to earn the award.
