Swimmers compete at Carleton Relay Meet
The St. Kate's swimming and diving team competed at the Carleton Relay Meet, and along with a handful of top ten finishes, the Wildcats had two top five finishes. In the 300 yard breaststroke the team of
Sarah Vrudny,
Christina Paetzel,
Mary Walters, and
Allison Witt finished fifth with a time of 3:41.67. In the 400 yard Medley Relay the team of
Bridget Perkins,
Steffanie Jurusik, Walters, and Vrudny finished in 4:28.58 to take fifth. The longest and hardest race of the day was in the Animal Relay were swimmers
Melanie Maas, Witt, and
Laura Oberg-Hauser swam a 200 Fly, 400 IM, and 500 Free, respectively, to finish in 6th place.
The Wildcats will be back to action next Saturday at Hamline for a triple dual meet with Augsburg, St. Mary's and Hamline.
