Volleyball finishes tourney with two wins
The St. Kate's volleyball team won both of their games on day two of the Titan Tussle. The Wildcats defeated
Lakeland College 3-1 (21-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-5) to start the day. They wrapped up the tournament with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-19) victory over Illinois Wesleyan.
The Wildcats finished 2-2 at the tournament to improve their overall record to 16-10.
Maria Hoffman was named to the all-tournament team after picking up 51 kills and 47 digs in the Wildcats four games. Including a season high 18 digs against Lakeland College.
The Wildcats resume MIAC conference play on Wednesday October 21, when they travel Augsburg College to face the Auggies at 7:00 pm.
