St. Kate's cross country is proud to host several high school cross country meets throughout the season. In 2018, St. Kate's will host the Private School Championship on September 13. Information about the championship can be found below, including a course map (with and without construction), a meet schedule, and updated meet information.

Course Map
Course Description: The cross country course consists of 2.5K loop which offers a mix of terrain including dirt, grass, wood chips and crushed gravel.
Start/Finish Area: The Start/Finish area and team camp area are located just west of the Softball/Tennis facilities. This area is one of the best places to watch the races, as runners will pass by several times.
The course runs down the south side of campus with the first turn being at approximately 500m where you turn right and follow the wood chip path north and loop around Dew Drop Pond and back down the wood chip path going south, take a left turn into the woods for approximately 200m and up the south side of campus past the start/finish area, loop around the tennis, soccer and softball field. There is one sidewalk to cross and short 60m portion that is paved on the north side of the soccer field. Spikes are recommended.
Parking: Parking is available in the O'Shaughnessy parking lot. The O'Shaughnessy lot is accessed from Gate 4 off Fairview Ave. Teams can also enter via Gate 3 off Randolph Ave to drop off along the tennis courts if needed. If, after your team is unloaded the lot is too full for your bus to park, there is also a bus parking area south of campus near Highland Park High School. Please ask your bus drivers to leave the front parking spots (closest to the tennis courts) open so that spectators can park there.

Restrooms: Restrooms are located in the Butler Center. The Butler Center is to the left across the small parking area by the sand volleyball court. It is the building with the clock tower. Restrooms are located on the first level to the left (locker rooms) or on the 2nd floor off the main lobby.
As one of the few colleges and universities in the Twin Cities with its own home course, St. Kate's rents out the trails for high schools to use throughout the year. If you are participating in one of these meets, please contact the high school sponsoring the meet, as St. Kate's is not the official host.
