ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Wildcats soared past the Eagles in a 3-0 non-conference victory on the campus of the University of Northwestern-St. Paul. St. Kate's outshot the Eagles 23-7 with 12 shots on goal.

Allie Bird scored her second goal of the season assisted by rookie
Amanda Elton with less than 7 minutes remaining in the half. Bird led St. Kate's with a team-best 6 shots, four of which were on goal. The Wildcats final goal was scored by T. Johnson unassisted near the 65th minute.
Senior Taylor Koop started in net for the Wildcats getting 2 saves before rookie
Molly Rudolph finished the game tallying 3 saves.
St. Catherine travels to Winona on Tuesday to open the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) season with a 7 p.m. game against Saint Mary's University in honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness.
