ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Catherine first-year
Katie Benjamin had another 17 point game, her second in the last 10 days, in the Wildcats' loss Saturday at Gustavus. The Gustavus Adolphus College Gusties topped St. Catherine 69-56 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) match-up. The Wildcats are now 10-13 overall and 7-9 in the MIAC, tied for 7th in the conference with two games remaining in the regular season.

Jackie Radford had the Wildcats out to an early lead scoring 5 of the teams 15 points in the first 10 minutes of play to the Gusties 14.
Benjamin's hot streak started in the second quarter with 8 points shooting 100% with the Wildcats trailing by 2 at the half.
The Gusties held the two point lead over the Wildcats after the third quarter with both teams scoring 18 points each. Junior
Danica Cambrice tallied 7 points in the third quarter for St. Kate's.
Benjamin and Cambrice added a combined 9 of the Wildcats 10 points in the fourth quarter. The Gusties went on a run in the final quarter scoring a game-high 21 points over the Wildcats.
Overall, Benjamin had 17 points and 3 boards. Cambrice posted 15 points, 6 rebounds and two assists. Senior
Audra Clark had an impressive 9 assists in addition to her 6 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals.
St. Catherine is on the road Wednesday in Winona as they take on Saint Mary's University at 7 p.m.
