Sieve named MIAC Athlete of the Week

St. Catherine University senior Greta Sieve has been named the MIAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for her performance at the St. Olaf Invitational.
Sieve finished third overall, and first among all NCAA Division III competitors, in the field of 276. She covered the 6,000 meter course in 22:35 to establish a new St. Kate's all-time best mark for the 6k cross country race.
Sieve, who competed at the NCAA National Championships last spring in the steeplechase, now has six school records at St. Kate's.
