It was Senior Night Friday evening in the Butler Center pool, as the Wildcat swimmers and divers honored their six seniors.  Fittingly, it was a Wildcat senior who was the only double event winner of the evening, helping to lead St. Kate's to victories over both Augsburg and Macalester.  Bridget Perkins won both the 50 and 100 free as the Wildcats defeated the Scots 113-102 and won 162-29 over the Auggies.

The Wildcats traveled to Moorhead Wednesday evening to face the Cobbers in a MIAC game.  Concordia showed why they are currently ranked third in the conference and shot out to a commanding lead.  Shooting nearly 50% from the field to St. Kate's 20%, in the first half, the Cobbers didn't let up until the buzzer sounded at half-time with the score 36-13.

The simming & diving team had a busy weekend down at the Grinnell Invitational and came away with a fourth place team finish.  In a rehersal for the conference meet next month, most Wildcats swam preliminaries and finals of multiple events with little rest.  Despite the busy schedule, they return from Iowa with many season best times and two event victories.

St. Kate's came out Saturday in St. Peter and played a very good game against nationally ranked (#4) Gustavus.  After a scoreless first period, the Gusties would score just under three minutes into the second period when the puck took an unlucky bounce off a St. Kate's player.

Sarina Baker led the way for the Wildcats and put up a game-high 21 points, but it wasn't enough to get St. Kate's past the visiting Auggies. Augsburg had the advantage on the offensive and defensive glass, which seemed to be the difference maker. Out-rebounding the Wildcats 42-23.
